Who runs Plynno

Plynno is a personal, non-commercial project run by Yeldos Turapbayev. It is not a company or an advertising service. You can use the address below for data questions.

Data that is processed

• Conversation text. When you send a message, its text and up to six recent messages from the active conversation are shared with Google to create a reply. The reply and language suggestion return to the app and are stored locally. Do not enter secrets, sensitive information, or another person’s data without permission.
• Local app data. Chat history, your learning profile, drafts, and saved phrases are stored in the app’s local storage and are not synced to an account. System backups depend on your device settings.
• Voice. Voice input audio, speech recognition, and speech playback are processed locally. The audio recording is not shared with the cloud reply service. If you submit recognized text or start a voice conversation, the text is processed under the conversation rules above.

Why the data is used

We collect data to improve the product.

Service providers

• Google LLC (Gemini). Receives messages, context, and technical data to create a reply, protect the service, and enforce its own rules. Google processes this data under its current terms; processing may take place in countries where Google operates. Google Privacy Policy.

Plynno uses only the cloud services needed to run the project. Their infrastructure, retention, and international transfers are governed by their current terms and policies; I cannot control all of their internal processes.

How long data is kept

Local data remains until you delete a chat, use Clear data, or remove the app. Retention periods in cloud services depend on their current terms and project settings.

Your choices

You can delete one chat from local history. Clear data removes conversations, saved phrases, and learning progress only from the device. You may also contact me about access or deletion. Because there is no account, it may sometimes be impossible to reliably locate a particular person’s data in provider systems.

Security

Transfers to service providers use secure connections. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Availability and responsibility

Plynno is a small personal pet project provided “as is”: it may contain bugs, be interrupted, or offer inaccurate suggestions. Check important information independently. See the Terms of Use.
